Agreement between GamArena (gaming company) and newspaper agency

One of the largest newspapers in Belgium, Het Nieuwsblad, has now entered into agreements with one of the big names in online gaming, GamArena. As per distribution agreements signed between the two organizations, the newspaper company would use the skill games network of GamArena to provide online backgammon players a safe environment for enjoying online games. The kind of games that would be available besides backgammon include Golf Hole in One, Solitaire and 8-ball pool. A white labeled site of the venture is scheduled to be launched this month and would be known as Nieuwsblad.be. Spokespersons from both organizations were excited with the development and hoped that it would ring in increased revenues for each of them. While people from GamArena said they were excited about being able to work with such a premier name as the Corelio Media Group (parent company of Het Nieuwsblad), spokespersons from the newspaper company stated that they have been impressed with the quality of games at GamArena and hope to provide exciting peer to peer gaming opportunities in an interesting gaming environment for their online readers.
