Here is some good news for all online backgammon enthusiasts and for backgammon players in Georgia. The 13th annual Georgia backgammon championships are all set to occur next month. Starting from September 15 to September 17, 2006, high level backgammon action will take place at the event. The backgammon money plays will feature championship, advanced and limited divisions of games. Hosted by the Atlanta Backgammon association, the tournaments will offer the backgammon championship cup, the Georgia peach cup and the Dogwood jackpot. The main events will include the championship division with an entry fee of $240, advanced division backgammon play with entry fee of $120 and limited division play with entry fee of $ 40. Bet on your luck at the game, but do not forget to bring your own board. The Georgia peach cup is a star event with $400 entry fee and an optional $140 side-pool.
