Estonia has good backgammon options and the Astoria Palace Club and Casino offers backgammon since September 2003. With approximately 25 regular members who attend the matches, the club sees the influx of various guest players also. Beginners are encouraged to attend the matches and learn the games either through participation or through watching experts play. Regular monthly backgammon tournaments are held at the club on the last Monday of each month. Entry fee for these monthly tournaments begins at $19. The Estonian backgammon club is another excellent venue that offers great backgammon company. Members of the club meet up once a week on Sundays for a good and challenging tournament of backgammon. Besides weekly backgammon money tournaments, regular social games of backgammon are conducted from Monday to Friday. Gaming usually begins at 3 pm and goes on well into the night.
