If you are seeking a house packed with backgammon action, then the St Albans backgammon club is just the place. Located in proximity to the city rail station, the club not just offers good gaming but also good ale! Join in for weekly action on every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. Those interested must reach the venue at 7:45 pm to register for the tournament. Knockout tournaments of backgammon and friendly games of chouette are the regular fare at the club. While no entry fee is charged for the club members, an optional £5 is charged as the knockout entry fee. All levels of players are welcome to the club. Beginners and guests can walk in on Tuesday to the venue or can contact John for more information.
