The sole backgammon club in El Salvador has been operational since January 1992 and a good number of backgammon players often come to the venue for a good tournament of backgammon. With approximately 25 regular members, occassional guests also keep attending the games either to watch or participate in the backgammon action. Backgammon money plays take place once a month on the fourth Wednesday at the M Club in San Salvador. More information on registration, entry fee and club rules and regulations can be accessed through phone or email. Players from all levels of play are welcome to attend the games at the club and are entitled to the prize money. The club is also working with the Central American Championships for backgammon that take place at the end of the year.
