The Backgammon club of Costa Rica is a popular place for backgammon lovers in San Jose and the neighboring areas to get together. The club conducts regular backgammon tournaments, the information about which is posted to the members of the club. Backgammon players here are mainly from the intermediate and expert levels of skill. However beginners in backgammon are not uncommon too. If you live in San Jose or are visiting Costa Rica you can have a taste of Costa Rican backgammon at the club. Guests are welcome and are taken special care of here. The Costa Rican Backgammon Association also offers great opportunities for backgammon players. Established in San Jose, the club has a database of regular members meeto to play backgammon quite frequently. However the club does not have a fixed schedule and those interested in participating can call at the mentioned phone numbers. The club has a steady stream of beginners and experienced backgammon players. Tourists who come intermittently can also be seen at the club.
