Since October 2001, the Backgammon Vancouver club has been offering fun packed backgammon action to its members through social backgammon games, money plays and backgammon tournaments. With strength of approximately 50, members of this club meet up once a week on every Wednesday at the Vancouver Bridge Center. Those interested in participating must reach the venue by 7PM to register themselves for the tourney. The club encourages backgammon money plays and charges an entry fee of CDN $20 for established players. Beginners are offered leverage and the entry fee for them is reduced to $15. This amount is returned to players in the form of prize money. As per club rules, there is a 7pts match in the main flight and 5pts in consolation. The Beckwith Backgammon Club offers good opportunity for all backgammon enthusiasts in the neighborhood of Victoria in British Columbia. Players from all levels, be it beginner, intermediate or experts get together for a social game of backgammon at a private residence. Gaming is a regular affair and informal backgammon tourneys are conducted once a week. Players meet sharp at 7 pm for the game. The Halifax backgammon club is another great venue in Nova Scotia where backgammon players can get together for social games of backgammon and for money based tournaments. Established in January 1997, the club has completed a decade of successful operations. The gathering is small and informal as friends get together for regular gaming. Players from all levels of expertise are welcome and guests are invited to join the action too. There is no fixed schedule and matches are held to suit the timings of the club members. National Capital Backgammon Club

Between September and June every year, members of the National Capital Backgammon Club meet up once a month for social and competitive games of backgammon. These games are conducted on the first Sunday of every month and are attended by various players who come from varied backgrounds and levels of skill. Beginners, intermediate players and experts match their skills against each other, polish backgammon strategies and learn the finer points of the game at the club. Guests are welcome too and those interested in participating in the action can contact through phone or write in for more information on club rules and how the games operate. While changes are not usually made to the schedule, those planning to attend can write to the address for more information. The club is constantly seeking to provide a platform for newer talent in backgammon.

A relatively newer club to the block is the Thunder Bay backgammon club. While it is in operation since May 2002, the club offers only an informal platform for backgammon players who enjoy their game. The club does not have a regular playing schedule as yet and players meet up when they want to play. Those interested in contacting backgammon players, organizing backgammon tournaments, playing backgammon for money or enjoying a good social game of backgammon with friends in the neighborhood can contact the club moderator for more details. With the Forest City Backgammon Club, members can meet up for a serious and challenging game of backgammon at the venue. Members of the club meet up once a week on Thursdays in the evening from 7-9 PM. Whether you are seeking to learn the game, improve your skills or find out how good you are at backgammon this club offers the proper platform to do so. The club has been functioning since 1st January 2005 and will soon complete two years of existence. Currently approximately 25 members are registered here and meet regularly for friendly games at the Central Library. Since January 1985, the Cafe Ludik Montreal backgammon club has been offering good games of backgammon and knockout tournaments to its over 60 club members. These backgammon players, who come from different levels of expertise meet up once a week on Fridays for friendly games and a small-scale backgammon tournament. The club promotes backgammon for money and charges a small fee of $5 for these games. Participants come from varied skill levels and are usually intermediate players or experts at the game. Beginners are however encouraged to attend the various tournaments to learn the game better and polish their skills. Besides weekly tournaments, a large scale tournament is held once in every three months. The entry fee of these tourneys is $125. Most of this money is returned to participants in the form of prize money. Monthly intermediate tournaments at a fee of $125 are a regular feature too where participants pitch their skills against one another.
