The Cafe-Restaurant Bärenstube offers more than just good food and drink. It offers good backgammon gaming company as various members of the Austrian Backgammon Association meet up regularly for action packed backgammon tournaments here. With over 70 members on its side, the club meets at the chosen venue once a week on Thursday. Gaming usually begins at 7 pm and players from all levels of expertise, be it beginner, intermediate or expert players are welcome to join the action. Backgammon for money and for fun is enjoyed here as a huge group of backgammon players come together. The Austrian Internet Backgammon Association or the AIBA as it is known among members is a popular place for live action-packed games of backgammon. With approximately 60 enthusiastic members, the strength of the club is growing as many gamers join regularly. The club members meet up once a month for a thrilling backgammon tournament on the second Friday of every month. Gaming usually begins from 7pm and those interested need to reach the venue in time to register for the game. Guests are welcome to attend the games and participate in the action. The club is in operation for a few years now and also conducts backgammon money tournaments on a regular basis. Members are informed about these games as and when they happen.
