There is just one backgammon club unique to the Gold Coast and Queensland and that is the Surfers Paradise backgammon club. This club operates at the Surfers Paradise Sports Club where sports and gaming lovers can find games of their interest. The Goldcoast backgammon group meets once a week on Wednesday at 7 pm. Beginners are welcome to play at the club for free. Intermediate and expert level players can also find players of their match at the club. One can also challenge others for a game of backgammon free of charge. The Surfers paradise backgammon club is truly a paradise for backgammon enthusiasts as it offers free gaming and participation in challenge meets. Besides this,the club also offers good food and drinks to make the evening a fun filled one. Since the three years of its operation, the club is growing in its strength of numbers and activities as backgammon gains more popularity.
